Catch-all Update

Has anyone seen the Muppet viral videos on youtube? Rumor has it they are hinting at something like a possible new movie. They are easy to find once you realize that they all have the tag "virmup," which I guess also proves they are deliberate.

Here is a link to one, and the rest can be found in the sidebar.

My one word review of the X-Files movie: Nope.

DVDs of Johnny Boy have gone into production! I created every aspect of the DVD from the menus to the packaging and learned a lot in the process so I'm pretty proud/excited. Go ahead and buy one from our site if you haven't already, and hopefully we'll be taking some measure soon to get word out to more than the two people who will read this.

And lastly, an article that may pass up 'Xzibit doesn't believe in aliens' as my favorite of all time. Some guy named "Rampage" Jackson (apparently a UFC champion, I could never get into that stuff) tried to get away from police and several traffic accidents he caused while driving a car with A PICTURE OF HIS OWN FACE plastered on it. I think only Seth can really appreciate this on the same level I do.

My Molotov was posted yesterday, as well as Frank's Michael Myers. I don't think it looks anything like him though, not even from his SNL days. In fact If you colored the face pink it would look kinda like Shatner.

Not pictured is the little knife you stick in her teeth, the whole reason I made her to begin with.

My official Hellboy 2 Promotion. No, really.

To coincide with the release of the movie Hellboy 2, the Cubees that Chris Beaumont and I collaborated on are finally being posted today. I made Hellboy and Liz, and Chris made Abe and Johann.

Believe it or not these are officially licensed and an actual part of the Hellboy 2 marketing campaign.

To be more specific they are part of the UK campaign for the movie, which doesn't come out until sometime in August over there. So around that time these will be released "virally" outside of the Cubeecraft site. Exactly how that's going to go down I'm not sure. The versions I've seen previously have the Hellboy logo branded on them, so those will possibly make another appearance when they're released officially, we'll just have to wait and see.

Wario Paint

Hmm...this is the biggest gap I've had between posts for a while. Busy as usual. First New York, then lots of work, then a really fun pool party/cook out. Business as usual.

There is a new game coming out for the Wii called Wario Land Shake that I'm sure I'll be picking up on the first day. You ever had a good idea that seems really obvious and you wonder why someone else hasn't implemented it yet? Thats exactly how I feel (and I'm sure plenty of other people) about Wario Land Shake. The game uses hand-drawn frames for it's character animation. In other words, it looks like you're playing a cartoon. I have always wondered why this has never really been used in a video game. I mean think about it...yeah you have bring in a traditional animator to do it, but he/she only has to animate all of the character moves once since they will then be used over and over throughout the game. I mean that's what...10 minutes of animation TOPS if your character has an enormous moves list. So kudos to the person who finally decided to use this technique in a first party side-scroller.

Oh, another obvious idea that took way too long to come to fruition? Pregnancy tests that actually display the word "pregnant." I mean come on, it took how long for those? Are you serious?
